Truliant Signs with fiVISION to Use accountWORKS

10/14/2008

Truliant FCU ($1.2 billion; Winston-Salem, NC) will implement fiVISION’s accountWORKS solution to streamline the member experience and allow the credit union’s staff time to analyze and meet member needs.

INDIANAPOLIS — October 14, 2008fiVISION, a CRM solutions provider that enables enhanced member service and sales for credit unions, has signed Truliant Federal Credit Union ($1.2 billion; 177,199 members; Winston-Salem, NC) to use its accountWORKS platform to enhance the speed and seamlessness in enrolling new members (both online and in-person) and open new accounts online for existing members. Truliant will go live with accountWORKS November 1, 2008.

fiVISION’s accountWORKS solution provides credit unions greater control over their new membership and account opening processes. This control includes helping a credit union determine what information it wants to collect and how to set up a decision matrix that incorporates information from credit bureau, fraud, and OFAC checks for a predictable process.

According to Donnie Peaks, Deposit Services Director for Truliant Federal Credit Union, Truliant has always looked to improve the member experience as well as reduce burden upon its staff. Peaks also looked at efficiency gain with accountWORKS. “With the streamlined process and integration with other databases,” he says, “we can offer a faster experience for our members without increasing our potential for risk.  Additionally, the consistent process greatly reduces the potential for process-related issues.

“This efficiency gain will allow us to use previously task-oriented time to better understand our members’ needs and recommend solutions regarding those needs,” Peaks explains. “We certainly expect reduced account opening time.  We also anticipate a further deepening of member relationships through understanding their needs.”

In choosing fiVISION, Peaks felt that the technology provider offered the most robust overall solution. In addition, the functionality with its core operating system was already in place.

“We couldn’t more pleased that Truliant has chosen our accountWORKS solution,” says Mike Winter, President of fiVISION. “Our enrollment and account opening solutions support applications regardless of where they come from - online, in the branch, the call center, or in the mail. As a result, the idea is to provide credit unions like Truliant with a platform that allows them to open memberships and accounts the same way throughout the organization.”
