Just like its predecessor - online banking - the process of opening up new accounts at financial institutions has become a self service activity!  According to industry analysts almost one third of accounts opened now by Gen Y consumers are done online and predictions are that half of all accounts will be opened online by 2015.  Are you surprised or are you ready?
